The Good News Club at the Alloway Elementary School has been in full swing since the end of September 2023.  It began with a robust 16 students that met to sing songs, listen to and participate in lessons, Bible stories and real-life missionary stories weekly.

In December 2024 we finished up the unit called “God’s Love; Hope for the Outcast” and began the unit called “God’s Power; Escape from Egypt”.  We had our Christmas Party, made a craft and had a lesson.  The unit began with lesson 1 and a memory verse of 2 Samuel 22:2b which says, “The Lord is my rock and my fortress and my deliverer.” We will review and proceed with the unit that will show that God equips those he chooses! Even though Moses said he did not what to lead the Israelites out of Egypt, he did it with God’s direction on what to say and who to talk to! do! We can all rest assured that God will give us direction also as he did Moses!

If you know someone who attends this school, or you have a child in this school we welcome you to join us in this after-school club.  We have 6 adults that help with the club, and it is scheduled to provide maximum routine activities.  The songs and hand movements as well as the games for review of the lesson are unique to the CEF program and, of course, we provide a light snack for the kids!  Enjoy the pictures from this year and last year’s activities.  Often, we are so busy that we forget about pictures!

If you know of a school that may benefit hosting a Good News Club, please contact the CEF Salem County office, director JoAnna Wolfe, at 1 (954) 716-5798.

Blessings for a Happy New Year!
