Greetings from Child Evangelism of Salem County! We have been busy this spring and summer!
May saw our CEF Conference which many in our chapter attended and all were encouraged by the 2024 statistics. See the video here:
We impacted over 31 million children worldwide through our clubs, events and literature which are our 3 primary ministries. Check out the video to see the story!
June saw preparation for our good news clubs to be held in school this fall and also preparations for the fall activities we run.
July was preparation for and participation of several community days.
August was the Salem County fair where we handed out 140 Bibles and spoke to countless excited kids. Our ministry at Malaga Camp was 2 weeks long for an hour and 30 minutes each evening, we had so much fun with the kids that attended.
We now have an ongoing fundraiser of jelly sales. We have many flavors, and the jars are $9.00 each. Contact the office for more information 856-358-4200 or the cell for the director 954-716-5798.
September, we have an upcoming yard sale with bicycles and many other donated items on September 27th from 8am to 3pm at our office located at 125 South Main Street in Elmer. Stop by to look for a deal!
Also, in September we are selling the Boscov’s discount passes for the one-day deals to save 25% off the lowest sale price for Christmas gifts and other items. The sale is on Wednesday, October 22nd, 2025, from 8am to 11pm. The card is $5.00 and gives you a code that will generate the savings for your purchase online or in the store. It’s called friends helping friends. Contact the Office or the director’s cell for more information. We are excited about the possibilities of helping others save and still help us fundraise!
October will see the start of our clubs in Salem County. We are proud to say we now have 10 clubs in our county that will be operating during the school year. We praise God for how he is opening doors for us to give the kids “The Good News Club”!
October will also see our 5th annual Hoedown Banquet at the Grange in Elmer, NJ. Doors open at 5:30 pm on Friday, October 17, 2025. There will be prizes for the best dressed western attire and many other valuable prizes. The speaker will be our regular Jeffrey E Hartman from Stanford Connecticut. If you have a door prize donation to showcase your company or business call JoAnna at 954-716-5798.
We praise God for all he has done in Salem County this year for the kids!
